Going out for a walk
The informal essay by author Max Beerbohm, who talks to the readers about his views on walking with and without a purpose. “Walking for walking's sake may be as highly laudable and exemplary a thing as it is held to be by those who practice it”, he believes that those who walk for fun and without purpose are participating in a foolish act. The author believes that there must be a purpose for one to get out of their house and go for a walk. Beerbohm also talks about the excuses he tries to use when someone asks him, but he believe that it could lead up to some unnecessary question that would be difficult to answer.
